Lately, we'll since the little guy started moving, we've had an abundance of tantrums! If he crawls all the way to the dogs water bowl he wants his spoils. He believes it is his right to play with. Sometimes distraction works.

How Long Are You Going To Breastfeed?
Oh, how I love this question!! My answer is usually, "Until the cows come home!" snicker, snicker, "And, we don't even have cows yet!"
I've been asked this question A LOT! Hello?! My son is only 9 months old! I haven't started thinking about quitting. Ok, I have, but my thoughts are like, until he's 2 or 3! I guess whenever he's ready.
Personally, I love it! He's even started doing acrobatics while nursing. Yesterday, he decided he wanted to stand on my lap. He did it without breaking his latch. Quite the talented kid.
I sure am glad that I found Le Leche League (www.lllc.ca)! Without them, well I'm glad I don't know.
And because I don't like leaving a post picture-less, here's one from the hospital!

Good for You!!
Recently, I've had a lot of people comment on the fact that I'm "still" cloth diapering my 9 month old. To them I'd like to say, "What do you mean, still?". They also say things like, "Good for you!" like I should be proud of myself. Well, technically I am, but not for the reason they're implying. To them, I'd like to say, "No! Good for you, your children, & your children's children!" I could go on, but I really don't like typing THAT much. I am helping protect the world and its environment.
I chose to cloth diaper my son for his benefit, not mine.

Asher Using My Leg to Stand
Asher is learning in leaps and bounds! His first 6 hour snooze was last night! He's also been crawling and following us around like crazy!

Nero Curls Up In Overturned Stool!
I MinPin Nero can snuggle in anything. He was trying to snuggle into the blanket, but ended up lifting it into the over-turned stool and settling down inside of it. And my son thought it was great. Now he had someone to play with that wasn't about to leave his warm spot!
Swimming Lessons!!
We enrolled Asher in Swimming Lessons. He did fairly well as long as he got a proper nap in ahead of time. I think they should change the lesson time to earlier or later so that it wouldn't coincide with what should have been the middle of all the kids naps. Anyway, Asher had an awesome time playing the games. We did "The ducks on the boat go up & down" and "If you're happy & you know it, clap your hands" & "Motorboat, motorboat, go so slow! Motorboat, motorboat go so fast! Motorboat, motorboat out of gas!" Loved it!! It was so cute. We also had them jumping off the edge which could go along with "Humpty, Dumpty!"
Swimming lessons cost us $60 for ten 30 min. sessions.

It's been awhile!
Wow, can't believe I haven't made an entry in so long.
Since last time, Asher has learned to sit on his own, crawl, & pull himself up on objects. He also has his two bottom teeth. His vocabulary is expanding as well. He now says what I believe is goat. He said it for the first time right after his "Your Baby Can Read" video.
I can't believe how cute he is. And its not just me saying it. Strangers will come up to us and tell him how adorable he is.
