BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!

TRU-BREAST Units solve the problem of storage of baby items until the next baby comes along. They are decorative as well as functional! They come in all sizes, shapes and colors and outward appearance has nothing to do with ability of Units to function. Units come in pairs and improve with use. TRU-BREAST makes traveling with baby easier the no-mess, no worry way!
And, best of all, TRU-BREAST is absolutely FREE! That's right, unlike formulas and bottles, which can cost thousands of dollars per baby, a set of TRU-BREAST units will be included in the price of your pregnancy.
With TRU-BREAST around,
why bother with other methods?

Feeding Asher!!!

As a new mother, I want to give my son what is the best! And the best is the breast! He gets all of his nutritional needs from nutrients in the milk. No formula can come close to breastmilk. It is more readily absorbed by the baby's body.
Asher just loves his Einstein Playard!
My beautiful nephew, Avery holding his younger cousin Asher. He does an amazing job!!

Shower vs. Bath

Today was Asher's first shower!! I'm talking about a water shower. He loved the watery pelts of water on his skin. I usually take him into the tub with my when I take a bath. He loves laying in the warm water & listening to me sing him his bath time song.

"Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're gonna wipe our eyes clean

Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're gonna wash our face clean

Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're gonna shampoo our hair

Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're gonna get our ears clean

Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're gonna scrub our backs too

Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're gonna clean our little arms

Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're gonna wash our neck & chest

Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're gonna wash our legs clean

Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're gonna wash our penis & bum

Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're getting our bodies clean
Rub a dub dub, we're in the tub
we're done!"

Parenting Baby to Sleep

Asher is now 3 mths old! He naps throughout the day but it is usually through nursing him to sleep or rocking him to sleep. Now, I find no problem with either of these other than it I cannot put him down without him waking up! I must hold him until he is done napping.
We have decided, through a lot of research, that we are going to do Attachment Parenting. This requires not letting Asher "cry it out"! I believe that is inhumane & cruel. Why not just stick them in a pile of snow? Anyway, starting today I will be taking Dr. Sears advice. I will offer him a sub, aka John to go to sleep. I have a sleep wrap for baby-wearing  it should probably work fairly good.

Asher Kai - 3mths old

3 Months Old!!

Monday, my little boy turned 3 mths. He weighs in at 11 lbs 15 oz. Is 24.5" long and has a head circumfrense of 15.75".
A few weeks ago I gave up eggs due to Asher's colic. I also gave up milk, mostly. He is a changed baby. He is laughing, giggling, cooing, etc.
He took quite a long nap during which I was able to get day 2 in of the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels and Winsor Pilates Buns & Thighs.
I started Your Baby Can Read today. He paid attention through most of it and tried singing along to the songs which he already knew cause I sing them to him almost every day!

It's Been Awhile!

My husband playing his guitar. It's been awhile since I've blogged, but I've been busy with my now 3 mth old son, Asher Kai. He is wonderful and cute. I love having him in my life & am extremely happy I waited to have him.
Asher was 21 inches long, 8 lbs 7.6 oz. I absolutely love the pic below. What a face!! I am working on a birth story. It is in the rough stages right now. Hopefully, I can post it before the end of the month.
